The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
